Caught between the ghosts of two moons

Ancient satyr seeking nymphs by the river

Away from the woodlands, curious creature

Seeking the passions, the ebb and the flow

Of love and desire, emotions that grow

Making us weaker yet stronger and more

Creating pictures of beauty that hang welcome by open doors

Hear the soft music, pipes gently play

And the dance lasts for hours until the lovers go their separate ways

In the stillness in the shadow of a tree

The writer records all that he sees

Whilst his heart is so open Fate watches and plays

Twisting temptations in long nights and bright days

Testing him, making sure of his worth

Knowing that love is the best thing on the face of this Earth
